A large loft transformed in an apartment for a family of four was remodeled around a new uninterrupted circulation path wrapping around the home.
All the rooms open onto this new “passageway” that functions as a corridor or a common space, allowing uninterrupted passage through the library, office, dining room and living room.
Innovative materials and rich interior decoration highlight the contrast with the architecture of the space. A backlit “translucent concrete” used for the kitchen furniture becomes a light source at night. Epoxy wall and floor materials used in the bathrooms are enhanced by beaded fabric upholstery.
